Brian Le
Owner/Coach

I started CrossFit in hopes of “getting in shape” and try something new for a couple of months to be prepared for welcoming our first child into the world. What I ended up finding was a priceless sense of community and people that cared for the well-being and success of others. I also found a yearning to learn as much as I could to become a better version of myself. My goal is to help anyone I come across with whatever I can along their own journeys through life.

“Brian introduced me to Crossfit after he joined a local gym in 2014. I was pregnant with our daughter at the time and decided to give it a try when I was about 6 months postpartum. It didn’t take long for me to become hooked! I loved the variety of the workouts and that they are easily modified to cater to any fitness level, making them far less intimidating! And the support I received from coaches and fellow members was incredibly refreshing! It was a completely different experience than attempting to work out on my own at home or in a regular gym, where I often found myself unmotivated and feeling discouraged.
Crossfit has completely changed my life in the most positive way. It’s a challenge that I’ve come to greatly enjoy, it’s an escape from the stress of every day life, it’s being a part of a wonderfully supportive family-like community, and it’s FUN! I’ve become a much happier, healthier, and stronger version of myself and love that this sport can offer the same for others!”

I started working out when my college roommate dragged me to the gym and told me I couldn't bench anything less than 135 pounds and while I failed over and over again I was hooked! Thankfully I've learned a lot over the years and would never do this to anyone haha but it did send me down this path and for that I am thankful. Fast forward a couple of years and I found CrossFit at WorkPlay CrossFit. It was here I began my journey as a coach and without the support and opportunities there I wouldn't be where I am today. I am incredibly excited to take the next step in my fitness career and be able to connect and help who ever comes through our doors in reaching their health and fitness goals.

"I started CrossFit in late 2012 after trying a free beginner’s class at a brand new box. Prior to that I had never even heard of CrossFit. Within a couple months of starting I was addicted. I loved the idea of having knowledgeable trained coaches in each class because I had no idea what I was doing in the beginning. I looked forward to going to classes because I really enjoyed the community atmosphere. It’s like working out with a bunch of super supportive friends! I liked that all the workouts were already programmed so I didn’t have to worry about “what am I going to do for my workout today at my local globo-gym?” because that was always frustrating for me and did not give me the results I was looking for. All I had to do was show up at CrossFit and get better every day. There is no such thing as “I can’t” in the sport of CrossFit. Everything is scaleable to anyone’s fitness level and abilities.
CrossFit has made such a huge positive impact on my life. I have become the best version of myself. The gym really is my happy place. I know, both those last two things sound really cliche, but they’re so true! After doing CrossFit for years, I decided I wanted to give back and share my experiences as a client and get my Level 1 Trainer Certificate. I love helping people, I’m a nurse in real adult life and a coach in fun life! I love seeing people get better and meet and even exceed their goals! I can’t put into words how proud I feel when a member gets that first pull-up they’ve been working so hard for, or that back squat PR, or strings those first 5, 10, even 20 unbroken double-unders together. I’m so fortunate to be a part of something so great where I get to see people get better every day."

"I have been a competitive CrossFit athlete since 2014 and continue to do so on the local level. I have been a CrossFit Level 1 coach since 2015 but took a bit of time off from 2017 until now to open my own Physical Therapy Practice, Infinite Potential Therapy located in Hingham. I'm really excited to be back on the gym floor, coaching athletes and being part of their journey. I have a passion to help people get stronger and become more resilient both physically and mentally.
I currently live in Weymouth, with my wife Pippa and our beautiful baby girl Teagan. We also have three (yes, THREE) long-haired dachshunds - Gracie, Tucker, and Dotty."

"I decided to try CrossFit in 2015 and immediately fell in love with the sport as well as the community aspect of it. I enjoy being able to continuously challenge myself through the constant variations of gymnastics skills and Olympic lifting. After seeing my own progress through CrossFit, I developed a strong desire to help others achieve their health and fitness goals, so I decided to become a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer as well as a Certified Nutrition Specialist. I’ve loved helping others discover how to meet their training and nutrition goals and live a healthy sustainable lifestyle and am excited to bring that knowledge and enthusiasm to Mainsail Community Fitness."

"I started CrossFit in 2017. I had been an avid globo-gymmer for years but couldn’t stand another day of the mundane routines and couldn’t motivate myself to get better. So I took the leap and wasn’t totally sure at first if it was going to be for me, but I quickly discovered that the community, competition, and camaraderie was exactly what I needed in my life.
I used to be the guy that avoided working on the things I didn’t enjoy or wasn’t good at. But since CrossFit is constantly varied, I know that I will be working on my weaknesses often, and this is something that I’ve really embraced. Of course, it’s fun to lift heavy and enjoy time with friends during class, but what’s most rewarding for me is seeing improvement in the areas where I struggle the most."
